Halloween

Halloween is the holiday I wax most nostalgic over. Crispy autumn days and the excitement of carving pumpkins with my brother when we’re were kids. Making Halloween crafts with my own children when they were little. Trips to the mega costume stores in NYC. Taking my boys trick-or-treating in Tribeca. I loved the salon that poured wine for the parents. They loved the place that handed out a fried chicken wing to every child. When we finally moved into a house, I was the lady putting Halloween decorations in my yard by September 1 every year. I delighted in handing out candy to the neighborhood trick-or-treaters as I happily repeated “Happy Halloween!”

I will always love Halloween. And sometimes the joy of the season busts out in art form
