I’d rather paint flowers than buy them
I like my painted flowers bright, bold and a little bit abstracted.. I model the vases after hand made ceramic pieces I’ve admired, collected or made myself.
I am just one of many artists who paints over older pieces. When a canvas or board has been painted over multiple times and has, at best, one life left, then I know it’s the perfect moment for me to create some lumpy flowers in a wonky vase.
