Drawing - cheaper than therapy
A stack of water color papers cut down to 6 inches by 6 inches. My favorite mechanical pencil, a handful of pens and whatever small tchotchke that caught my eye to draw that day.
I was having one heckuva summer. Had to sell a house, move across the country, see both my mostly grown boys settled in their new homes and then as the cherry on top, I learned I needed a lumpectomy and radiation treatment.
Not sure about you, but when the going gets rough… I draw.
